March

It's March now, the ground is parched from no real rain since December, and we are in imminent danger of running out of water (mostly to do with the leaky water tank, the spring is still running).

The geese have returned to the paddocks around the house, much to the delight of the dogs.

The teaberries are ready for picking, the hens are still laying but there are no whales in the bay yet. First batch of teaberry crumble muffins coming up today.

Had to bump off an egg bound and very poorly hen last night, not much fun. She was my favourite.

Jobs left to do: just about all of them.
Jobs done today: really not a lot.
Electric status: windy this morning - battery mostly full, dropping this afternoon.
Water level: very low.
Fuel level: must check.
